Product Description
Our Expel Ultra 41mm roller shutter combines a fly screen with an insulated roller shutter allowing you to have greater control of your environment and adding security to your premises.
The fly/insect screen is made from glassfibre and pvc weaved to allow 66% visibility to ensure that insects are kept out whilst airflow and sunlight are kept to a maximum.
The roller shutter has been manufactured from 41mm insulated lath providing low-medium security on openings 3000mm wide and smaller. The insulated lath allows better retention heat in the winter as well as offering sound reduction qualities and a near blackout of sunlight making this the ideal product over bedroom windows to help you sleep at night.

Warp and weft of 1mm from 36% glassfibre and 64% PVC in grey or black. Thickness 0.3mm and 120g m2.
Curtain Slat
Aluminium double skinned aluminium polyester powder-coated slat with polyurethane foam insulating core.
Finish: White, Brown, Grey, Silver or Cream. Vented and unvented options available.

ENCLOSURE AND ENDPLATES
Roll-formed aluminium box with pressure-moulded aluminium alloy end plates enclosing both security shutter and insect screen in a single enclosure. Circular box available for 180mm and 205mm sizes (surcharge applies).
Finish: White or Brown. Option to powder coat any RAL / BS colour (surcharge applies).

BOTTOM SLAT
Extruded aluminium bottom slat with rubber weather seal.
GUIDES
Dual entry extruded aluminium guide channels with brush inserts. Width of 53mm.
Finish: White or brown. Option to powder coat any RAL / BS colour (surcharge applies).
OPERATION
Electric: Somfy tubular motor and wireless internal rocker switch as standard. Both motors are actuated wirelessly. Safety brake as appropriate to comply with legislation. Manual override facility & crank handle for use with the security shutter curtain as required (surcharge applies).
Remote control handset also available.
CE compliant to all applicable directives and standards.
