• The ALU-12M411 traditionally offers a more cost effective and aesthetically pleasing solution to that of an insulated steel shutter.
• Lighter than a steel shutter means less energy is needed to open them (4kg/m²).

APPLICATIONS

Low to medium security domestic sites with a maximum size of 8m².

CURTAIN SLAT

Aluminium double-skinned polyester powder coated slat with polyurethane foam insulating core. Vented or non-vented options.

ENCLOSURE

Manufactured from roll-formed aluminium with pressure-moulded aluminium alloy end plates.

Circular box available for 165mm/205mm plates for an additional cost.

GUIDE CHANNELS / BOTTOM SLAT

Extruded aluminium bottom slat with rubber weather seal. Extruded aluminium guide channels with brush inserts. 45mm, 53mm, 66mm or 60mm HD (Heavy Duty) widths are available as required. See relevant CAD drawing.

FINISH

Standard curtain colours: White (RAL 9016), Brown (RAL 8019), Cream (RAL 9001), Fir Green (RAL 6009), Grey (RAL 7038) & Silver (RAL 9006). Black (RAL 9005) is available for an additional cost.
We have both vented & non-vented options. Box and guides can be powder coated to any stocked RAL/BS colour for an additional charge.

OPERATION

Cord Belt: A swivel winder coils a belt attached to the rotating shutter barrel.

Rod & Crank: Geared rod and crank handle winds the shutter.

Spring & Lock: A counterbalanced spring assembly with a key lock bottom slat & handles.

Electric: Single phase tubular motor & wall switch as standard. Numerous options such as group or remote control etc. Manual override facility as required (surcharge applies).

Circular option for canopy if required.

LATH DESIGN

Lath can come in a solid version or vented option. The vented option allows the customer to let small amounts of light & air in if required.

The curtain comes in 6 standard colours: White, brown, cream, fir green, grey or silver. Black is available for an additional charge.

Box and guides can be powder coated to any stocked RAL/BS colour for an additional charge.
