• More lightweight than a steel shutter meaning less strain will be caused on the motor when operating.
• Powder coated White or Brown as standard, but can be powder coated to any standard RAL/BS colour.

APPLICATIONS

High-security commercial sites & shop front applications, up to 25M2. Note: can be upgraded to insurance approved “Secure by Design” status – LPS1175 SR2.

Punched (ALU-12PU) or Perforated (ALU-12PE) profile slats can be incorporated as required for full or partial vision for an additional charge.

CURTAIN SLAT

Double-skinned extruded aluminium.

Standard colours: White or Brown.

Blind Surface: 77mm

Weight per m2: 8.5kg

Maximum Width: 6500mm

Maximum surface: 25m2

Each slat has a U-value of 1.5 W/m2K.

ENCLOSURE

Manufactured from roll-formed aluminium with a stove-enamelled finish.

End caps are pressure moulded aluminium alloy.

Standard colours: White, or Brown. Other colours are available on request.

GUIDE CHANNELS / BOTTOM SLAT

Extruded aluminium with weather seal.

Guide channels depth is 70mm, 90mm or 150mm.

FINISH

Standard colours are White or Brown, other colours available on request.

OPERATION

Electric: Single phase tubular motor with wall switch as standard. Numerous options such as group or remote control etc. Manual override facility as required.

Note: Manual operation is available but not common as it is utilised for larger areas in most cases.

LATH DESIGN

A number of lath designs are available. We offer a 37mm version for smaller openings and where a smaller head box can be achieved. The lath can also come perforated or punched with polycarbonate infills if needed.

FINISHES

Can be Polyester powder coated or plastisol coated in a range of standard RAL colours’ for an extra charge.

ACCREDITATIONS

All of our security shutters guarantee a high level of security against vandalism and theft. However, for an extra charge you can have one of our shutters with a distinct security or fire rating accreditation including SBD (Secured by Design) or LPS1175 security rated levels 1-2.
