Storm Shutters

If a windy storm is heading your way, the last thing you want to worry about is your home or business’s protection. Our storm and hurricane roller shutters offer enhanced protection from high winds and flying debris.

Our storm shutters are made from aluminium or steel depending on the exact specifications. We have a variety of models depending on whether the property is industrial or domestic. 

All models have been adapted to withstand higher winds through the use of wind locks, thicker materials, brush seals and can come insulated to offer further protection. 

Manual and electric options are available, but it is generally recommended that the electric model is chosen so they can be operated safely from within the building during a storm.

Our storm shutters have been installed in Hong Kong, to protect against Typhoons, the USA to protect against hurricanes and all along the coast of Great Britain to protect against high winds and bad storms.

These shutters can come “marine coated” to protect against rust; especially useful if you’re near the ocean.

Durable Protection

Most of our storm shutters are made from powder-coated aluminium which is naturally resistant to corrosion by design. For an additional surcharge, we can also marine coat the shutter which you may wish to consider if the shutter is near a particularly unforgiving coast or is made from steel (steel shutters are more suitable for industrial locations). 

Our insulated storm shutters will also boost the thermal efficiency of a property significantly; keeping the heat in during the winter and the hear out during the summer.
