Product Description
Our GLV11-INS100 model of insulated roller shutter offers higher security, faster action, greater protection against gale force winds, considerably reduces heat loss and noise pollution, improves efficiency and reduces energy costs when compared to its standard steel alternative. It is proven to be more reliable, safer and stronger than a sectional door and requires less maintenance. It is the perfect solution for all modern buildings.

The GLV11-INS100 insulated door is constructed using a double-skin steel lath with insulated infill, these are held together using nylon end locks and can be wind locked in exposed areas. A wide range of colour options is available as well as polyester powder coating. Because it is made in “two halves” this shutter can be powder coated in a different colour on the inside to the outside.

They can be activated in a great number of ways to ideally suit the customer’s specific requirements.

Finally, this shutter can be upgraded to security level LPS1175 SR3 or SR4 if required at a surcharge.

Shutter Curtain

Double-skinned polyester powder-coated 100mm flat slat with polyurethane foam insulating core. Perspex windows can be incorporated as required.
Colour: Galvanised finishes as standard. Plastisol range or powder coating available.

Vertical Side Guides/Bottom Slat

Galvanised steel bottom slat with EPDM weather seal. Guide channel depth is 85mm as standard.

Colour: Galvanised finishes as standard. Plastisol range or powder coating available.
Note: The guide channels are bolted to fixing angles or box sections to suit the application.

Enclosure/Housing

Manufactured from 0.7mm or 0.9mm galvanised steel sheet. End caps are fabricated from 3mm steel.

Colour: Galvanised finishes as standard. Plastisol range or powder coating available.

Operation

Electric: Single-phase tubular motor or 3-phase outboard motor with push button control. Numerous options such as group or remote control etc available as required. Manual override facility as standard.

CE compliant with all applicable directives and regulations.
