University of Gloucestershire – Fire Curtain Installation

Project Overview

As part of the development of a new university building in Gloucester, the University of Gloucestershire required an effective fire safety solution to protect a large open atrium area while maintaining the architectural design and open-plan layout.

Scope of Works

Our scope included the supply and installation of 15 fire curtains, specifically designed to provide fire compartmentation within the open atrium space. The solution was engineered to integrate seamlessly with the building’s fire strategy and overall design intent.

All fire curtains were installed with:

• A/V (Audio/Visual) control panels
• Beam sensors to provide early detection and activation
• Full integration with the building’s fire alarm system
